Parent involvement & Education
Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for families and invite them to participate as equal partners in the education of their children. Opportunities to participate include, but not limited to:

Parent Orientation

Ongoing two-way communication between Parents and Staff

Desired Results Parent Survey

Parent/Teacher conferences are held twice per year.Conferences provide an opportunity for parents to collaborate with the teacher to develop goals for their child

Parent Meetings provide an opportunity to learn about child development, share topics identified in the parent survey, and parenting strategies. It is a great time to network with
Program staff and other parents.

Preschool Parent Advisory Committee (PPAC) meetings provide an opportunity for parents to provide input on the nature and operation of the program. These happen three
times a year. If you are interested in serving on our committee, please let us know.

Our goal is to encourage coordination between the community and our program through:

Soliciting support from the community including the solicitation of donated goods and services.

Providing information to the community regarding our services available.

Facilitating relationships and collaborations with other community agencies.
